Call me skeptical, go on, do it!
But after months of speculation and very little on the news front in regards to the Doctor Who 50th Anniversary episode, Doctor Who returns, and so does some news.
Up until now the best news Doctor Who fans have been able to get their hands on is the fact that Matt Smith revealed the hint "paintings" in an interview on Jonathon Ross. On the 26th of March after being told not to get excited about homages to the past, Matt Smith reveals the special is all about the past. And now on the very day the show returns we hear the news that both David Tennant and Billie Piper are making a return. Presumably the "human" doctor trapped in another world.
The BBC is notorious for timings like this, Christopher Eccleston's departure hit the press on a Saturday mid-way through the first season, Tennant's departure just prior to a special during his hiatus year, and Matt Smith's casting just in time for another special.
Meanwhile and with all scepticism aside Doctor Who returns in a very gripping looking tale titled The Bells Of St. John. This can be found tonight on BBC One at 6.15pm.
