For as long as I can remember, there have been stories about the American government carrying out tests on cattle. Endangered Species takes that story and runs with it.
It starts out like a fairly average thriller, but Endangered Species gets pretty nasty, pretty soon. In one of the more memorable scenes local businessman Ben Morgan (Hoyt Axton) is poisoned and steps out into the middle of the road, as he does this his stomach bursts open. It's a fairly shocking but unexpected scene.
This is not the only show of blood and gore, the movie gets progressively more disturbing.
Endangered Species has a fairly high calibre cast that includes JoBeth Williams, Peter Coyote, Zalman King, Bill Moseley and the late Robert Urich.
